Frequently Asked Questions

What is Wildflower Healing Circle?

Wildflower Healing Circle is a trauma-informed, neurodivergent-affirming, disability-aware coaching practice. We offer gentle guidance, emotional support, and personal growth work for people who want to understand themselves more deeply, rebuild trust with their bodies and minds, and move toward a grounded, authentic life.

Is this therapy?

No. WHC currently offers coaching and wellness support, not clinical mental health treatment. We do not diagnose, prescribe, or provide psychotherapy at this time.
The long-term vision for WHC is to become a fully integrated healing practice that includes therapy and psychiatry once all licensure and team members are in place. Coaching is the current foundation; therapeutic and psychiatric services will be added in the future as WHC grows.

Who do you work with?

I work with adults seeking compassionate support in areas like trauma recovery, neurodivergence, chronic illness, disability, identity exploration, emotional wellness, relationships, and reconnecting with themselves. Many of my clients are autistic, ADHD, disabled, chronically ill, or trauma survivors.

Do I need a diagnosis to work with you?

No. You do not need any diagnosis to receive support at WHC. You are welcome exactly as you are, whether diagnosed, self-identified, questioning, or simply exploring your experiences.

What does trauma-informed mean?

Being trauma-informed means honoring your safety, autonomy, and pace at all times. It means understanding how trauma impacts the nervous system, behavior, emotions, and self-perception, and supporting you without judgment, force, or pathologizing.
Trauma-informed care centers consent, choice, gentleness, and nervous system awareness in everything we do.

What does a session look like?

Sessions are collaborative, gentle, and guided by your needs. We may explore your goals, talk through challenges, develop coping strategies, work on communication skills, understand patterns shaped by trauma, or create practices to support emotional regulation. You lead the pace and direction while I walk beside you with support and insight.

How do I prepare for my first session?

You don’t need to prepare anything in advance. You’re welcome to come as you are.
If you want to prepare, you might reflect on:
• what’s been feeling heavy or confusing
• what you’d like support with
• what goals or changes you’re hoping to move toward
• any accommodations you need to feel safe
But none of this is required. The session will unfold naturally.

Do I need to know exactly what I want help with?

Not at all. Many people begin this journey feeling lost, overwhelmed, or unsure where to start. Exploring your needs and finding clarity can be part of our work together.

Do you offer virtual sessions?

Yes. WHC is currently fully online. You can meet with me from anywhere through the secure video link provided after scheduling.

How do I book an appointment?

You can book directly through the scheduling page integrated into the website. Choose your session length, pick a time, and complete the intake form all in one place. If you need accommodations or have questions before booking, you’re welcome to reach out.

What are your session lengths?

I offer 30, 60, 90, and 120 minute sessions. Longer sessions allow deeper exploration, grounding, and spaciousness for complex topics or regulation needs.

How much do sessions cost?

All pricing is listed on the "Book a Session" page.

Do you offer sliding scale options?

Yes. Here at WHC we strive to meet you where you are and offer care to you in an affordable way. You can contact us to discuss options for cost that works for you.

What is your cancellation policy?

We ask for at least 24 hours notice when possible. We understand that life happens, especially for those navigating disability, chronic illness, or trauma-related symptoms. We do not charge cancellation fees when there is a legitimate reason for needing to cancel or reschedule. Communication is all that is asked.

Can I work with you if I already have a therapist or psychiatrist?

Yes. Coaching often complements clinical mental health treatment beautifully. Many clients work with us alongside therapy or psychiatry to gain additional emotional support, grounding, and clarity. We also intend to branch WHC to provide therapy and psychiatry as well in the future.

What is your approach to disability and chronic illness?

WHC is disabled and chronically ill owned. We bring lived-experience-informed care, and support clients with pacing, medical self-advocacy, emotional processing, energy management, as well as the realities of living in a body that needs ongoing care.

Do you work with LGBTQ+ clients?

Yes. WHC is queer-led, queer-affirming, trans-affirming, plural-affirming, and a safe space for all identities, orientations, and neurotypes.
